Canada seems to be more popular with the Brits than Americans, for some clear reasons. It still boasts all the fantastic things the States has to offer including masses amounts of snow, empty runs, memorable powder and a friendly service, yet also boasts perhaps even greater scenery and lower prices. Getting there is also easier as flights are more direct too.
Snow in Western Canada has much better snow than the Alps with frequent fresh falls providing the finest powder in the world. There is much steep terrain, avalanche protected that is safe to ski without guidance. All ability levels are extremely well catered for.
Whistler is one of the most famous resorts here It is situated amid North Americas largest mountain with terrain to suit every standard and a large, yet attractive purpose-built car free village. Banff lying in the heart of the Canadian Rockies as well as Kicking Horse and Lake Louise are also very reputable resorts with incredible skiing opportunities. The Canadians themselves are another attraction offering the attached stigma of the ‘customer is the King’. A ski trip to Canada shall certainly be a memorable experience for all!
