Kappl is a pretty little resort with its own ski area situated a 10 minute drive from the better known resort of Ischgl. There are excellent beginner and intermediate slopes above the village. One of the main attractions is that Kappl forms part of the Silvretta lift pass area, which covers Ischgl and Galtur, and from where you can ski across into the Swiss duty-free zone of Sasmnaun for lunch.
There are a small selection of après ski bars in Kappl, offering everything from a cosy glass of wine to a slope side party after 3pm.
Up on the mountain the Bock Alm has the biggest party with live music ever Tuesday and Thursday tobogganing and DJ sets http://www.bock-alm.kappl.at/.
The Schpfa is the most famous right next to the Kappl lifts with a mix of rustic Tyrolean style, hospitality and live music. Later on it turns into Fox Night starting a 9pm and well worth a visit.
Helli’s Retreat is in the centre of town with a lively pub atmosphere and a great place to meet for snack and drinks.
Kappl has a good mix of restaurants to suit most tastes, with restuarnts for the whole family, couples or are larger group.

There are plenty of winter sports available in Kappl which allow you to enjoy the stunning scenery at a slower pace. Just some of these are ski touring, snow-shoe hikes and winter hiking tours.
You can have the opportunity to have first tracks every Monday morning with an experienced mountain guide from Kappl Aktiv Ski School. Children as young as 3 years can be looked after in the crèche at the Sunny Mountain Club Kappl. It works out to be great value with all-day supervision, with lunch and drinks costing just €12.

Tobogganing is great fun for all the family; the special night ski nights are especially exciting. Head there on a Tuesday from 7-10pm for an all inclusive fondue package, costing €27.90 per person and including cable car, toboggan hire, fondue of your choice in a mountain restaurant. On the Thursday night it runs from 7-9pm with all inclusive pizza package for €18.90.
