In a province of great ski resorts, no place in British Columbia is as underrated or overlooked as Panorama. Due to its remote location in the Purcell Mountains, Panorama is more of a mountain retreat, but it has the second biggest vertical in North America, stunning views, great corduroy and long runs from the peak into the attractive ski-in/ski-out village where several outdoor hot tubs located right at the base of the lifts invite you to soak your weary bones after a day on the slopes.
Straight off the slopes most are tempted by the superb outdoor hot springs which overlook the piste. The T-bar and Jackpine Inn are pretty lively après ski and often feature live music although later it is fairly quiet. There are a handful of good eating spots slopeside although it is well worth taking the free shuttle to Invermere for a good selection of restaurants and to test out the local nightlife. Other activities are many and varied with plenty of interesting options like a broomball competition and evening wagon rides with cookout.
Panorama Mountain Village offers a wide variety of dining for all tastes. Village dining includes breakfast, lunch, apres-ski, family dining and fine dining.
