The Mariandre is positioned in a wonderful location in the old village area of Alpe d’Huez, from here guests are able to ski back to the front door in normal snow conditions. In the morning skiers can start their day from the Telecabine ski lift just 50m away. To access additional areas of the resort there is a free ski bus service which stops outside the hotel. Each family set-up will be catered for with a good mix of family rooms and suites, all of which have their own en suite facilities.
Everything that guests could need is within easy reach, with the ‘Yoghurt Pot’ lift which links to the centre of resort up to the Rond Point des Pistes. There are 5 different lifts which can whisk you up to your choice of mountain. The pistes start just 50m away which will take you down to the Eclose ski lift which will then take you up to the main ski area.
The chalet’s interior has a cosy rustic alpine feel with pretty wooden carvings along the bar to make a warm and welcoming feel. This area has stunning views through huge picture windows which can be enjoyed from the comfort of a comfy sofa whilst enjoying a well earned drink. This makes the focal point of the chalet hotel.
The reception desk is there to help you with any questions or bookings you might want to make within resort. Downstairs guests will find the dining room which is separated into 2 parts styled in a French bistro design. If everyone arrives at breakfast at once this is a little on the snug side, but also rare that this should happen.
Childcare is located in a separate area with sleep-room which are both off the main sitting room. The children’s Snow Club can also be found within the hotel building, to makes this an ideal and extremely popular option for families.
