Situated in the idyllic resort of Meribel-Mottaret, the chalet-hotel Tarentaise has an excellent piste-side location with ski in / ski out facilities and excellent views of the slopes.

With a log fire and a large, sunny terrace the chalet’s lounge and bar area is a perfect place to grab an après ski drink. A bright, airy dining room is ideal for indulging in a relaxing glass of wine with great company, and superb food. The chalet also boasts full spa facilities; perfect for easing your muscles after a tough day on the mountain.

Chalet hotel Tarentaise has comfortable spacious bedrooms that are all en-suite, have flat screen TV showing English channels and most have balconies. Choose from a twin, double or inter-connecting room, most of which can take an extra bed.

A delicious breakfast buffet is served everyday in all our chalet-hotels from 8am until 10am. Choose from a selection of cereals, breads and pastries, fruit, yoghurt or a full cooked breakfast. Freshly brewed coffee, a choice of teas and fruit juices are also available.

Afternoon Tea is served on your return from the slopes which is a feast of home made cakes, biscuits, soup, bread, jams and honey.

Each evening in our charming restaurants, you will be served a three course dinner offering a range of meat, fish and vegetarian options. On two evenings, including arrival night, a buffet is served. Otherwise our daily menu offers a choice of three starters and three main courses and a selection of desserts or local cheeses. A choice of complimentary wines are also served.

Where possible, ingredients are locally sourced to ensure the freshest food, and we incorporate local specialities into the menu to give you a real flavour of the region.

One evening a week, our restaurant is closed for dinner, giving you the chance to dine out at one of the excellent restaurants in the resort.

Charges apply to anyone aged 18+ and vary from €1 per person per night (Berangere) to €2.50 per person per night (Ecrin), depending on the resort.

Please note that the charges are based on last season so may change and once next seasons' charges are confirmed, this will be updated.

Taxes will be paid in resort and added to guest room bills to pay at the end of their stay.
